What is BLDR?

What devices can I use BLDR on?

Is there a mobile app?

BLDR is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means it works like an app but runs in your browser. You can add it to your home screen for quick access:

  • iPhone: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen
  • Android: Chrome → Menu → Add to Home Screen

Offline Mode

Can I use BLDR without internet?

Yes! BLDR's offline mode lets you:

  • Fill out forms without internet
  • Take and attach photos
  • Collect signatures
  • View existing records

When you're back online, everything syncs automatically.

How do I enable offline mode?

Offline mode is automatic. Just make sure to visit the forms you need while online first, and they'll be available offline. Look for the "Available Offline" indicator on your forms.

Forms & Data

How many forms can I create?

There's no limit on the number of forms you can create. Build as many as your projects need.

Can I customize form fields?

Absolutely! BLDR offers 28 different field types including text, numbers, dates, photos, signatures, GPS location, and more. See our Field Types Reference for the complete list.

Can I import existing data?

Yes, you can import data from Excel/CSV files. This is useful for migrating from paper forms or other systems.

How do I export my data?

You can export your data to:

Team & Permissions

How many users can I have?

You can invite unlimited team members. There's no per-user fee for basic access.

What are the different user roles?

  • Project Owner - Full admin access, billing management
  • Superintendent - Create forms, view all data, manage workers
  • Field Worker - Fill out forms, view own submissions

Can I control who sees what?

Yes, permissions are role-based. Field workers only see forms assigned to them and their own submissions. Superintendents see everything in their projects.
